The stepdaughter and her husband bought their first brand new car today. It is an SUV but not the big and bulky type. It looked hip and just about right for two young people with two kids. I liked it on sight too. I am glad they have the chance to buy them a new car because I am sure it means a lot to them having one. I told her husband that this might be a chance for them to visit his family who are living in another state but he said they might have to use the new car cruising to new places than visiting. Well, whatever rock their boat.

Monday, May 25th, 2009When I called my parents the other day they sounded happy. No worries, no health problems, not even a hint of trouble. This was a first for a while and I am glad. Usually when I call, there is always something wrong. Either they’re not feeling well or they are broke. Last time was different. I am happy for them. They were in town to buy dried fish and other items for Mama’s sister who came to visit. We talked about plans and hopes and we just had a good time talking I did not even realized we have talked for over an hour. And that was an international call from our landline! I know we will pay for it come next month so I am not using the phone for any more international calls. We will stick to text messages for a while. I hope they will continue to be like that, happy and laughing all the time. Those two have been through a lot they deserve to be happy.

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009This blog was originally from Bravenet. But with the benefit of having my own web hosting, I decided to migrate it to wordpress and bought a domain for it to claim ownership. I want most of my blogs where I can check on it easier and I have control on its contents. My friend bought the web hosting account yesterday and did most of the transfer of mine and a friend’s blogs. I set up this baby though and I am proud of it. Although I have to ask the friend on how to add the theme I liked. For the life of me I could not figure it out by myself. I still have a lot to learn and learn I will even if it means not watching Korean dramas for a while
