“They are so smart they’re stupid.” Or so said the husband. These, he said, are the people who think they know what they are doing, will not listen to advice or reason, will not even admit their faults, and end up with their heads stuck up in their you-know-where. The first time I heard him say that I laughed so hard. He is crazy. He can say colorful words which really cracks me up. I know this is not originally his but I still find it funny when he says it. There are more especially when he gets started which some people might find offensive so he does not say it in public, only when we are in the privacy of our home. I told him he is a bad influence because I am starting to use the same language but he said I did not need influencing, lol. I married a nut.

we want it back
Thursday, November 19th, 2009The husband bought a used Pontiac Firebird two years ago. His son saw it and he said he wanted it. It was a nice car inside and out. It was good on gas and it was sleek even for a person like me who is not really into cars much. I like the way it was built, it had a spoiler that made it look more like a sports car than anything else. I did not actually know what it was called until I asked the husband what it was and I searched online about spoilers and what it is for. Anyway, the reason I am talking about the car is that we might get it back after two years. It is a bit complicated but I am telling you maybe in a few months we will have that baby back. I told the husband we will keep it and maybe use it for a spare car when we need it.
no more late nights
Thursday, November 19th, 2009I stayed up late last night to finish reading a book. I did not go to bed until after two. I have not been up this late in a long time. I used to do it when I was in college and after I gave birth to the little man especially when he was not feeling good. I stayed up like I had a deadline to met, lol. It was worth it but I know I will not do it again. I am so tired and sleepy right now but I can’t indulge on a nap since the husband is taking his nap and I have to keep an eye on the little man. One of us has to be up with him because we do not know what he will do when left on his own. Next time when I start a book I have to do it real early so I can finish it early too. No more late nights for me that is sure.
earning money through twitter
Tuesday, November 17th, 2009This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Sponsored Tweets. All opinions are 100% mine.
When I say Twitter is very popular these days might be an understatement. It is huge. A lot of people are into it even the celebrities. And why not when one can tell the world in a few words what he or she is up to or just even thinking at the moment. I must admit I have not tried Twitter yet although I have a few friends who are. I am a bit shy and unsure whether people will be interested to know anything that is going on with me, a virtual nobody. Or maybe it is just my inferiority complex again setting in. Anyway, I have heard and read that Izea launched Sponsored Tweets, an online marketplace that allows people to connect directly with advertisers to engage in sponsored conversations through Twitter. This means getting paid, in cash, by tweeting about a certain product or service. That is easy right? I mean, all you have to do is basically tweet about something and get paid for it. And by the way, you get to set the amount you want to get paid for per tweet. That is cool! I might even try it for myself although I will have to start at the bottom while everybody else is already on top. I should have started early huh? Anyway, if you are interested and you do have a Twitter account you can sign up for sponsored tweets and start earning money the easy way. Be in league with Kim Kardashian and Leann Rimes among others who are also participants of this program.

one down, more to go
Saturday, November 14th, 2009Last week, I mailed our report of marriage to the embassy in Washington DC. This certain form is one of the requirements so I can renew my passport and use my married name on it. I will await the result and then we might go ahead and plan for a trip to DC for my passport. I hope there will be no problems with it and the papers will be processed so I can apply for my passport this month. If only we can do it here in the state where we live like we did the rest of the immigration stuff but no we have to travel over 500 miles for the application alone. I might have to call and ask what I need to bring so the trip will not be wasted in case they sprout up requirements we forget to bring.
